Jeffrey Campbell is my Boyfriend

Well, not really. Kind of. If I devoted the time, energy and adulation I expend on the 21st century's most iconic shoe designer on some poor unsuspecting male, they would probably never speak to me again. Clinginess and all that jazz, whatever it is girlfriends are meant to do. No idea. Not a field I am familiar with. Shoes > boys, and Jeffrey Campbell is the reason this binary isn't the other way around. 

I first became acquainted with Jeffrey as a 16-year-old girl who had a new savings account  as a result of getting a job in a fishing store and as a girl who had little to no work ethic as well as an appetite for nice things and procrastination. Jeffrey's directional spin on the vessels we walk around in captivated me and the majority of my revenue, and before I knew it I became the proud owner of 3 pairs. 

The originality and direction that is evident in each and every pair of his collections is commendable and cutting-edge, and continues to pave the paediatric road less travelled by. Yes, some of his designs are outrageous, however this is precisely why they are so desirable:




Call me crazy, but I'd prefer the company of this kind of footwear to someone who'd rather I stop buying things like this....
